MHA Monmouth Hosts Open House to Showcase Enhanced On-Site Services
TINTON FALLS, NJ – The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County will host an open house for its Red Bank Resource Network (RBRN) on Thursday, September 14, to provide community members with an in-depth look at the program’s enhanced on-site services. The event celebrates the agency’s recent acquisition of additional space, which, through charitable grants and collaborations, offers meaningful opportunities for the continued growth, development, and career mobility of county residents.
“Since 2009, our staff and community providers have worked to make RBRN the go-to wellness resource for individuals and families, with a focus on self-sufficiency and overall health,” says Wendy DePedro, President and CEO of MHA Monmouth. “The expansion of our space epitomizes that achievement, and we look forward to showcasing the measurable impact of our skills-based programs at the open house.”
The Red Bank Resource Network is a free bilingual community walk-in center that provides comprehensive health, housing, food, social, and financial resources in a culturally sensitive manner. In 2022, RBRN serviced approximately 1,500 clients and more recently completed a successful pilot for the Monmouth County Board of Social Services to offer social services in the community.
“RBRN is critical to our community outreach,” says Ewa Farry, Vice President of Adult Services. “This program sustained individuals and families through COVID-19, and the additional space allows us to focus on delivering services in a more impactful manner.”
Located at 103 Drs James Parker Blvd (Red Bank, NJ), the Red Bank Resource Network also accommodates the agency’s Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH), Housing Navigation, and DCP&P programs, as well as MHA Social Services and outpatient counseling.
