❖ Monmouth County Division of Behavioral Health: Desiree Whyte, Director: The Monmouth County Division of
Behavioral Health serves residents through mental health and addiction services resources. Overview of Addiction
Support & Recovery Services for Adolescents
❖ Child and Family Crisis Clinicians: Monmouth Medical Center:
The Behavioral Health department of Monmouth Medical Center offers a Family Crisis program where a youth
specialist provides mobile crisis evaluation and intervention for children and youth ages 5 to 17 and their families at
school or at their home.
❖ MonmouthCares: Chad Majczan, Director of Community Relations and Resource Development: MonmouthCares is a
non-profit Care Management Organization (CMO) serving youth and families up to age 21. They are part of the NJ
Children’s System of Care that helps youth and families with emotional, behavioral, substance use, and
intellectual/developmental disability needs.
❖ Family Based Services of New Jersey: Ann Goldman, Executive Director:
The staff is comprised of parents and caregivers of children with challenges related to mental and behavioral health,
substance abuse and developmental delays. This organization is unique because staff are Caregivers supporting
Caregivers. They offer one to one support for IEP meetings, warm-line services and outreach.
❖ Family Crisis Intervention Unit/Mental Health Association of Monmouth: Ashley Lynn, Director of Youth-Based
Programs: FCIU Stabilizes youth in crisis and encourages positive development through connections to community
resources, interpersonal relationships, and academic success. FCIU services are available to Monmouth County youth
who are ages 10-17.
❖ Intensive Family Support Services/ Mental Health Association of Monmouth: Dustin Knoblauch, Director of
Community Education and Advocacy: IFSS provides consultation for families and friends of adults with mental illness,
providing one-on-one support, education, resources, and topic-based support groups.
❖ Mental Health Association-Monmouth: Marie Boccasino, Social Services Program Coordinator:
Overview of services and resources available to children and families.
