December 3 is Giving Tuesday, and it’s a chance for all of us to come together and make mental health a priority.
At the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County, we understand that mental health is a critical part of overall wellness. Yet, nearly one in five adults in the U.S. has a diagnosable mental health condition, and over 28 million people do not receive the care they need. It’s our friends, our families, our neighbors—and sometimes even ourselves—who need support.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re setting a goal to raise $2,500 to ensure that mental health care is accessible, stigma-free, and available to those who need it most. Donate today and help us continue providing vital services and support to the community.
Why should you contribute?
- Direct Impact: Your donation supports over 15 free programs and services that make mental wellness a reality for individuals and families, including at-risk youth, homeless veterans, and others in need.
- Access to Care: It ensures that mental health care is accessible to those who might not have it otherwise.
- Breaking Barriers: Your support helps us continue breaking down the stigma around mental health and advocating for more accessible, compassionate care for everyone.
I invite you to join us on December 3, Giving Tuesday, and help us make a real difference. Every contribution—big or small—has the power to create lasting change and save lives.
Thank you for being part of the MHAMC family and for supporting mental health in our community.
Together, we can ensure no one is left behind.
