Supporting Monmouth County Youth in Crisis
The Family Crisis Intervention Unit (FCIU) is dedicated to stabilizing Monmouth County youth, ages 10-17, who are experiencing crises such as family conflict, runaway behavior, school refusal, or human trafficking. Our goal is to assess behaviors, provide immediate support, and link youth to long-term care to prevent involvement with the juvenile justice system.
Our Mission
At FCIU, we believe that every child deserves a safe and supportive environment to thrive. We work to stabilize youth in crisis, promote positive development, and connect families to essential community resources. Our team of licensed clinicians offers trauma-informed counseling, comprehensive assessments, and ongoing case management.
Who We Help
FCIU is available to all Monmouth County youth between the ages of 10 and 17 who are:
- Experiencing family conflicts
- Displaying runaway behavior
- Refusing to attend school
- Victims of human trafficking
We are a direct referral service, and anyone can make a referral—whether you’re a caregiver, school personnel, or part of an involved agency such as CMO or PerformCare.
