MHA Monmouth Appoints Lisa von Pier as New Operating Board Chair
Tinton Falls, NJ (February 6, 2024) – The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa von Pier as the new Board Chair of the Operating Board of Directors, effective January 29, 2024. Lisa’s appointment was approved by the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County’s Board of Directors in January 2024.
Lisa von Pier brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her new role as Board Chair. Currently retired, Lisa holds the position as the Co-Chair for the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County’s Child Advocacy Committee and serves as a parent advocate with Monmouth County’s Children’s Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (CIACC)’s Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Committee.
Lisa’s impressive career includes a two-year tenure as the Deputy Director for Monmouth County’s Department of Human Services and a remarkable 20 years of experience with the Department of Children and Families. Her extensive background in social services and commitment to mental health advocacy make her a valuable addition to the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County’s leadership team.
