A gorgeous day for a beautiful cause!  The anglers and captains who came out for our 1st Annual Twin Lights Cup Fishing Tournament had a perfect day to be out on the water…despite a dearth of stripers!  Although not many fish were caught, there was a spirit of unity, peace, and hope among the fishermen, including a group of military veterans who were invited to enjoy a day out on the water to refresh and rejuvenate.    “The only way to do well and get better as far as mental health is concerned is getting connected and staying connected!” encouraged Achille Dejean, the Executive Director of MHA.  “So make sure that you exchange numbers with somebody and reach out and stay connected.”

Congratulations to our Tournament Winners – Captain Dave Wickersham +Steve Hoffman of Striper Island and Stephen Geiger + Captain Harry Browne of Muscles Magoo!  Special thanks to Jay Cosgrove and Bahrs Landing for hosting this incredible event and ensuring that all participants had a day to remember!
