With mental health entering more of our daily conversations, many people are learning about mental health topics for the first time. That’s why for Mental Health Month this year, we’re getting back to basics.
Mental Health America’s 2022 toolkit provides free, practical resources to introduce mental health topics like recognizing warning signs, knowing the factors that can lead to mental health conditions, building emotional wellness, and finding help.
We know mental health plays a big role in our overall well-being. When we’re mentally healthy, we’re able to enjoy our lives more fully and the people in it. We feel good about ourselves, maintain strong relationships, and better navigate complex challenges. It’s normal for our mental health to shift over time though, but when we create positive habits, we build the skills we need to address mental health concerns if and when they arise.
