Thank you to all the guests and supporters of our “Gala by the Sea,” which featured scrumptious food, music by the Haven, and gorgeous views of the ocean from the Berkeley in Asbury Park. During the event, MHA honored three exceptional champions of mental health, all of whom have promoted mental wellness and the improvement of our community for many years:
Ann Goldman, Child Advocacy Award recipient, is the Executive Director of the Family Based Services Association of New Jersey (FBSA). In all her roles as FBSA administrator, member of MHA’s Child Advocacy Committee, and mother, Ann has worked tirelessly to support, educate, and advocate on behalf of young people struggling with mental health and related challenges.
Teena Lomack, Humanitarian Award recipient, serves as Director of the Heartwarming Center for homeless women in Red Bank. As a former psychiatric nurse, Teena brings extensive understanding of the diverse needs of this population and has implemented a comprehensive array of supports for the women in her care.
The Provident Bank Foundation, Philanthropy Award recipient, has been dedicated to providing life-changing support in the communities it serves for over 20 years. Provident’s financial support of our Red Bank Resource Network (RBRN) has helped sustain this program and allowed us to provide free counseling, case management, and social services to thousands of individuals and families.
