Description of Services:
Provides professional consultation to families and loved ones of adults with serious mental illness. One to one support and education is provided with the goal of helping families understand serious mental illness, to respond in a manner most helpful and to support their loved one in a way that maintains their own sense of well-being. Assistance with navigating community resources is also provided. IFSS staff provide a flexible schedule to best meet family needs. Educational workshops are provided several times throughout the year, in addition to topic based support groups.
Any family member or loved one of an adult impacted by serious mental illness. This program is specific to Monmouth County.
This program is funded by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health Services.
