On Sunday, August 30, 2015, MHA will be hosting its 1st Annual Ride For Patriots event. This motorcycle run is being held to honor our military and to raise awareness of the Mental Health Services MHA Offers to Military and all families in Monmouth County. When the motorcycle run concludes, will also be hosting an exclusive screening of the documentary “Project 22”.
“Project 22” is about two veterans who are on a 22-day mission to raise awareness of veteran suicides and to interview leading researchers and healthcare providers specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury and Post-Traumatic Stress while riding motorcycles across the country. Along the way, some awe-inspiring veterans will introduce us to their form of therapy, whether it be sailing solo around the world or building custom motorcycles. It’s about them, it’s about us, and it’s about #22 not losing hope. For more information on Project 22, CLICK HERE
